PROTUR CHEF – 4^th NATIONAL COOKING SCHOOLS CONTEST

 Venue: Protur Biomar Gran Hotel & Spa, Sa Coma

A weekend of gastronomy is on offer at the 5-star Protur Biomar Gran Hotel & Spa in Sa Coma – and many of the activities are free to attend for members of the public.

The weekend includes the national cooking school contest, Protur Chef. Eighteen students from across Spain will compete to win the title for 2022. They’ll cook on stage in front of a panel of judges and an audience watching the action on a large screen.

Judges over the weekend will include well-known chefs. They include Tomeu Caldentey, Álvaro Salazar, Marc Fosh, Adrián Quetglas, Fernando P Arellano, Tomeu Martí, Bernabé Caravotta, and David Moreno. Chef and culinary consultant Koldo Royo is master of ceremonies.

A gastronomic market and several show-cooking sessions are also on the agenda.

On Sunday afternoon, eight local celebrities will have their cooking knowledge put to the test in the first edition of Protur Chef Celebrities.
