DESCRIPTION:TALAYOTS OF CAN XIM (PREHISTORIC BUILDINGS). GUIDED VISIT AND WINE TASTING DO BINISSALEM\nDiscover our heritage with a guided visit to the talayots of Can Xim in CasCanar and a tasting of 2 wines (white and red) made from local grape varieties of the DO Binissalem\, accompanied by a selection of Mallorcan coca. \nSencelles in the Talayotic period (900–550 BC). The naveta settlements were gradually abandoned or transformed\, giving way definitively to Talayotic settlements around 900 BC. Their main characteristic is the presence of imposing tower-shaped buildings\, the talayots\, around which the houses were arranged. \nWithin the Sencelles-Costitx Archaeological Route\, specifically in Sencelles\, municipality of the DO Binissalem\, we find the talayots of Can Xim. These are two square-plan structures\, somewhat less common than circular ones. They are very close to each other (about 18 m apart). They measure approximately 11 m in width and retain a height of about 2.5–3 m. One of them has been excavated and allows visitors to see its central interior column\, typical of these buildings. \nAs for their use\, archaeologists believe their function could have been: a ceremonial or ritual center (a widely accepted hypothesis in this case)\, a place for social or political gatherings\, or a watchtower for monitoring the territory and livestock. In the specific case of Can Xim\, since they are isolated (not within a large settlement)\, it is thought they may have had a more symbolic or ceremonial role. \nActivity carried out in collaboration with the Sencelles-Costitx Archaeological Route and the Sencelles Town Council. \nWine tasting for adults over 18 years old. \nLimited capacity. DESCRIPTION:The International Teresetes Theatre Festival of Mallorca has been a crucial reference point in the creative and cultural industry of the island since its creation in 1999. Our main objective is to promote and disseminate the latest and most representative stage proposals of the teresetes genre\, objects\, shadows\, movement and associated arts\, in a program that recovers traditions while also featuring avant-garde works in international\, national and domestic productions. \nAnnual event\, every third week of May\, we work to provide the island with a theater festival that reaches all citizens with the exhibition of shows in multiple and varied venues\, highlighting the presence on the street\, as well as with diversified parallel activities that enrich the experience and promote the network. Highlights include: the professional aspect for companies\, actors\, programmers\, institutions and students with the Professional Conferences \, the social aspect with the actions of Teresetes Socials and the adherence to the Apropa Cultura IB program \, with the aim of facilitating access to culture for people in situations of vulnerability\, the training aspect with specialized courses and and the participatory aspect with the PUNT teresetes . \nOrganized since its inception by Elàstic Nou Produccions \, we have the collaboration of the Consell de Mallorca —via the Department of Culture and the Teatre Principal— the Balearic Government —via the Institute of Balearic Studies—\, Acción Cultural Española\, Palma Cultura and Obra Cultural Balear\, as well as the participating municipalities from all over the territory\, since the Teresetes Festival is a decentralized festival that brings quality theater to the entire island.
