Ara Malikian Intruso World Tour

Ara Malikian presents his ‘Intruso’ tour, a deeply personal journey that begins with the anguish of not fitting in anywhere, ultimately leading him to embrace the richness of his multicultural identity and find his home in the world through art and music. In the musician’s own words:

In Lebanon, I wasn’t considered “Lebanese” enough because I was of Armenian descent; the Armenians didn’t consider me “Armenian” enough because I was born in Lebanon; and when I settled in Europe, I wasn’t considered “European” because I wasn’t born in Europe.

This experience was also reflected in my relationship with music. Every note resonated with the longing for a home that didn’t exist, a place where I never quite belonged.

However, this status as an “intruder” gave me the opportunity to explore and enjoy fascinating music and cultures, foreign to my own tradition, contributing my own voice, my multicultural experience.

Thanks to my status as an “outsider,” I’ve discovered that the whole world is my home. My home is in my body and in my soul, an infinite space where identity transforms and music becomes a universal language.

Port Adriano welcomes one of the most acclaimed violinists, the Lebanese artist Ara Malikian, who will perform for the third time in the spectacular setting of the port on the Mediterranean Sea next Friday, July 31.

From the largest and most spectacular venues around the world to intimate and personal theaters, Ara and his violin are capable of filling every corner with unique sensations and emotions.

It is these latter spaces that, due to their size, create a more welcoming atmosphere, full of charm and nostalgia. A different atmosphere that also extends to the music, the eternal conduit of feelings and sensations for the audience.
