Moana is a young woman who loves the sea and is the only daughter of the chief of the village of Motunui.

When her village’s fishermen can’t catch any fish and all the crops fail, Moana discovers that the demigod Maui caused the misfortune after stealing the heart of the goddess Te Fiti. The only way to save the island’s fate is to persuade Maui to return Te Fiti’s heart. So, Moana embarks on a perilous adventure to save her village alongside the demigod Maui.
