The emergency department at Son Espases hospital is bursting at the seams because there are so many people are sick with flu, bronchitis, pharyngitis and pneumonia. Yesterday 15 patients had to be moved to private clinics in Palma because there were no beds available. The emergency department at Son Llatzer hospital is also under extreme pressure because of an influx of patients.
