Mallorca Death Café
The death café movement was founded by the late Jon Underwood in London in 2011. Since then it has become a global movement and has spread quickly across Europe, North America and Australasia. As of today, 9351 Death Cafes have taken place in 65 countries since September 2011.
The objective is ‘to increase awareness of death with a view to helping people make the most of their (finite) lives’.
A Death Cafe is a group directed discussion of death with no agenda, objectives or themes.
