For Fans of Books and Wine

If you love literature and enjoy discovering wines you may not have known before, an interesting event that combines these two pleasures may be of interest.

Books Uncorked is a regular event held at locations in Mallorca that pairs classic books with curated tastings of wines chosen to complement the readings from the featured book – the name of which isn’t revealed until the evening of the event.

Lit Lab Mallorca hosts these social evenings, which are hosted by Arizona Bell, an author and literary agent, and wine expert Amy Dunn.

These evening events include a welcome drink, a curated tasting of three selected wines, snacks, the readings and lively conversation with like-minded book fans.

Numbers are restricted due to the cosy settings chosen for these Books Uncorked events, so places must be booked and tickets purchased in advance.

Previous locations have included La Biblioteca de Babel and Quartera in Palma, Odette Studio by Adele, also in Palma, and Port de Pollensa Yacht Club. The next event is on Friday, October 16th at Bohemian Bookbar in the village of Costitx, with tickets now on sale for 35€ each.
